Model Portfolio Sessions

Your Modeling Portfolio Session

Portfolios and composite cards speak volumes in the world of modeling. You might be drop dead gorgeous in front of an agent, but do you photograph well? This can be what makes or breaks your modeling career.

As a former model herself, not only does Dawn understand many facets of the business and empathize with upcoming models looking to break into it, she knows what agencies look for in a model and spends extra time working with each model to achieve the best images for that model’s portfolio.

An initial modeling portfolio session typically includes the following steps – before, during AND after the shoot:

  • A questionnaire and interview to determine what might work best for her client’s portfolio,
  • A vision creation/mood board for the model’s photo session,
  • Wardrobe recommendations,
  • Location scouting,
  • A hair/makeup artist and assisting team on the day of the photo shoot,
  • Up to 6 wardrobe changes – depending on package chosen – to obtain a variety of looks for the model to choose from for their portfolio,
  • A select number of retouched images from the shoot at no additional charge*,
  • Comp card and portfolio consultation and services, and
  • An optional discussion on observations from the photo shoot, going over ALL photos from the shoot and Dawn providing any necessary suggestions for improvement. She will also give tips for making a good impression on agents and provide ideas for getting your foot in the door and/or supplementing your income doing what you love (this session is separate and optional – an extra nominal fee will apply if session is desired).

Enlist Dawn’s experience in the field, general creativity and her fun team on your shoot to help create your professional calling cards. You will walk away with more than a few pictures, you’ll walk away with an exceptional learning experience!

* Number of retouched images is based on the model portfolio shoot package chosen. Additional images may be retouched and provided at no additional charge upon agreement of a model release for use of images in Dawn’s print and online portfolios as well as in her educational articles on select photography topics.
